During the international seminar in Karlsruhe the idea came up to optimise this blog as central entry for us students.
Please comment here, what you think should be changed to achieve good usability.

    Hi Alex,
thanks for the initiative! I am going to comment on you request extensively, but at the moment I’m working my ears off on graduation projects from my students, lecturing, meetings and setting up a workable schedule for the publication on finding, structuring & presenting information. But I will try to post a few lists with requirements for discussion fora (read: learning & discussion environment). Ofcourse it will deliver an ‘ideal’ environment, but alas, at least something has to be ideal, considering all the environmental discussions (little bit off topic, but I could not resist….;-).

    moi Alex,
it wouldn´t harm if the current version of WordPress was uppdated.

  4. Alex Says:

    That is correct!

I think to show thematic discussions on topics the individuals deals with in their studies and research, we could integrate RSS-Feeds of the individual’s weblogs – additional to the possiblity of posting directly to this shared weblog.

More ideas follow…. but this was something that already came to my mind in Karlsruhe.

I think it’s pretty good as it is… maybe we could add a couple of pages as a forum for thematic discussion – the challenge is coming up with appropriate topics. ummm… anyone?
